Connor Bedard scored a hat trick, Shane Wright had a goal and set up three others, and Canada’s National Men’s Under-18 Team advanced to the gold medal game at the IIHF U18 World Championship for the first time since 2013 with an 8-1 semifinal win over Sweden.
