Game Story

Peter Reynolds (Fredericton, N.B./Shattuck-St. Mary’s, USHS) opened and closed the scoring, netting the game-winning goal 1:45 into overtime to help Green down a never-say-die Black side 5-4 in the opening game at Canada’s national under-17 development camp Wednesday afternoon. Stuart Rolofs (Carp, Ont./Kanata, HEOMAAA), Conner Roulette (Winnipeg, Man./Winnipeg Thrashers, MMAAAHL) and Josh Bloom (Oakville, Ont./Toronto Young Nationals, GTHL) had the other goals for Green, which led 4-2 with less than three minutes left before Black rallied to force an extra period.
