• Aiden Fink (Calgary, Alta.) rounded out the scoring.
• Ethan Barwick (St. Albert, Alta.) made 22 saves.

Battlefords North Stars 7, Portage Terriers 1

• Holden Doell (Martensville, Sask.) had two goals and an assist.
• Jake Southgate (North Battleford, Sask.) had a goal and two assists.
• Josh Kotai (Abbotsford, B.C.) made 30 saves.

We were in a similar situation versus Pickering in the final last year, actually down a goal though, and we stayed calm and got the job done.
