CALGARY, Alta. – Hockey fans can kick off the new year by bidding on exclusive Team Canada game-worn jerseys, gloves, and helmets from the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship in Buffalo, N.Y.

The Hockey Canada Foundation mission is to promote and foster accessibility to the game from coast-to-coast-to-coast and fans can help support that mission by joining in on the eBay.ca auction starting at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 2, until it closes on Sunday, Jan. 7, at 9 p.m. ET.

“Our love and passion for hockey unites all Canadians and this online auction gives fans a chance to bid on some one-of-a-kind items,” said Donna Iampieri, executive director of the Hockey Canada Foundation. “While fans are adding to their collection, they’re also making a difference by supporting the development and promotion of grassroots hockey and ensuring those who want to play the game are able to participate at any level in their community.”

Shipment of the items to the winning bidders will begin the week of Jan. 29, 2018, for paid items.
